Custom Designed Pet Resort Floor Plan Our brand-new 11,000 sq ft facility was professionally designed from the ground up to promote exercise and interaction with our guests to reduce home-sickness and stress. Our Guest Rooms are clean, modern, and spacious, with five different sizes available. The floor plan is designed to provide privacy and psychological security while reducing noise. This means increased relaxation for your pet, and more peace of mind for you. Additionally, our guest rooms have access to natural daylight year round with numerous skylights as well as natural airflow when temperatures allow. Good Clean Fun!CSS Pet Resort has unmatched exercise areas, with over 4,500 sq feet of indoor play areas. We have over 10,000 sq feet of outdoor play area surfaced in SoReaLawn synthetic turf which provides a mud free, safe, and soft play area for pets. Your dog will return home clean and happy. Our custom designed facility also offers an indoor/outdoor Pet Pool, making swims available year round for our guests who like to play in the water. Safety and ComfortCome Sit Stay Pet Resort has specially designed dog training areas, play areas, and space to house cats and exotic animals. Our new facility is safe and secure, with 24-hour fire monitoring and a full sprinkler system, as well as 24-hour security systems and cameras. Our entire facility was designed by professional dog trainers to ensure a safe, fun, and clean environment for your pet, so you can go on vacation guilt free. Our state of the art year-round climate control system ensures your pet stays comfortable at all times. |
Meet the Owners:
The owners and operators of Come Sit Stay Pet Resort have over 50 years of combined pet care, training, grooming, animal husbandry, breeding, and sport dog competition experience. CSS owners are on site daily to oversee and train staff in pet care and safety.
Tim Cruser – Operations
Tim Cruser
With over 25 years of experience in handling and training dogs at the highest level, Tim brings an unmatched level of professionalism and experience to Pet Resort Operations. Tim has competed at the highest levels of International Working Dog Sport, and has handled and trained Mold Detection, Personal Protection, Police dogs, and AKC Conformation / Obedience dogs for more than two decades. Throughout his career, Tim has excelled at training Pet Owners with their Dogs to behave as what is now referred to as a Canine Good Citizen. Tim has worked with over 120 breeds of dogs, dozens of wolf hybrids, and countless mixed breed Pets. He has dealt with every behavior problem under the sun, and as an expert witness on Canine Aggression, Tim has testified in dog bite cases. He has successfully run and managed pet resort facilities in Virginia and Colorado. Tim and his partners are proud to introduce you to the great services at the new Come Sit Stay Pet Resort.

Lori Cruser – Training and Husbandry
Lori Cruser
Lori has been involved in animal care and handling since childhood. She started riding horses at age 7 and has been working with animals ever since. After high school Lori received degrees in Animal Husbandry and Psychology. Lori was an Animal Control Officer, founding the first animal shelter and adoptions in her home town in Greene County, Virginia. Lori has worked in vet offices as an assistant as well as being a professional groomer, running her own shop. Over the past decade she has had success in the Working Dog Sport world; raising and training six personal dogs to Schutzhund III, winning numerous USCA Regional Championships, HIT’s, and participating at National and International levels of Schutzhund competition. Over the years she has handled hundreds of pet dogs with all varieties of behavior issues. Lori has also trained assistance dogs for people with disabilities. Her 30 years of diverse background in animal husbandry and training help her bring an intuitive understanding of the pet care industry to Come Sit Stay Pet Resort.

Nish Nalbandian – Business and Admin
Nish Nalbandian
Experience in Canine Explosive Detection, Mold Detection, and Assistance Dog Training and Handling help Nish bring an animal care industry perspective to managing a business. As an entrepreneur, Nish has successfully started and run several businesses, including Comet Canine training. Nish has more than 20 years of business administration, sales, and project management experience, and more than 10 years of dog training experience. He has worked with thousands of pet dogs with all kinds of behavior problems. He brings a ‘big toolbox’ approach to dog training and a belief in the highest level of customer service.
